Happy Memorial Day, y'all!!
Memorial Day is a federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (May 31 in 2010). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service.
Thank you to all the soldiers and their families for the sacrifices that were made for our freedom.
I made this card using the Our Craft Lounge set Let Freedom Ring. I just love the real detail in these stamps! It's hard to tell but the banner at the top has 3 layers; the bottom 2 are made of tissue paper. Kinda neat IRL!
I hope y'all have a wonderful holiday. Please remember our troops and their loved ones today. Thank a soldier!
