Nature’s Note watercolored

I’m able to show you some of the sample cards I made for the Couture Cardstock booth at CHA now.  This first one uses the new Nature’s Note set from Our Craft Lounge.  Let me just tell you that this set has the MOST gorgeous images!

I had not yet received the actual stamp set when I made the card, but I did have a print sheet.  I printed the images onto Couture Cardstock Pure Silk Water Color paper and immediately heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then I was able to watercolor it.  I actually colored the images twice and cut out and layered one on top of the other.

The card base is 6" x 6" and is a medium weight cardstock from the Confectionary Collection - called Cocoa.  I scored it using my Scor-Pal after embossing with a square Nestabilities die in the center.  (You can click on the photo to see the detail.)  The shimmery gold layer - oh my, what beautiful paper! - is Grace from the Red Carpet Collection.
