If you've come here from the Color Throwdown blog, this is probably your first time at my NEW blog and I thank you so much for visiting! If you'd like to subscribe, there is a link in the sidebar, or if you use Google reader, please change the link to this new one. If my other blog ever gets back up and running, I will be trying to import the contents to here. If anyone knows how to do that, suggestions and links would be most appreciated! Thanks!
Tammy is our hostess this week for the Throwdown. Here are the beautiful colors she chose:
I chose to use my gorgeous flower from the Thankful Flourishes set from Our Craft Lounge. I stamped it on the torn out sketch pad page and then 3 more times on tissue paper that matched the melon cardstock almost perfectly! I'm so glad I've saved all the tissue paper from gifts I've received! I only glued the tissue layers down in the center and then I ruffled up the edges, so now I think it looks like a camellia!
I used this wonderful sketch from Card Patterns:
And I'm linking here:
I don't know if you noticed, but I also used some leftover tissue paper for a little ruffle at the bottom. Fun!
Please check out what the other design team members have created for your inspiration:

Thanks so much for coming to my new blog. I hope you'll visit often!

That is so gorgeous! I wondered what that was stamped on.....you are smart to save those beautiful pieces of tissue! Your ruffle is cute too! One good time where it's okay to be "ruffled"!!!
